New Ram recalls for several models, notices being mailed

Oh dear, it’s not a great week for Ram trucks, as they already had to issue a recall for one model of truck, and now there are a trio of models affected by a new Ram recall, although this time for several reasons. In all around 1.4 million trucks are to be recalled, in what can only be described as a huge blow to the company, although more so to those that own one of those affected models.

1.06 million of just one model is affected, which is the largest of these three recalls. The 2012-2014 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 models have an issue with their driver-side airbag, this also included the chassis cab versions of the 3500, 4500, and 5500.

Next up are the 2014 and 2015 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, where 188,000 units are being recalled due to their side-curtain airbags not overlapping the C-pillars when deployed.

Finally, 156,498 of the 2013 Ram 3500 and 2014 Ram 2500, 3500 are affected by another recall because some of the welds on their steering parts are not sufficient enough.
