There are another 3,296 affected by this recall, 3,073 of which are in the US. The models affected by this latest round of recalls are the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, 2015 model heavy-duty pickups, along with the 2015 Chevy Suburban.

The good news is that this issue has been caught early, seeing as though these are newer models. The reason for this recall is that in some cases the ignition key could become stuck in the start position, and then be slipped into accessory if the vehicle is bumped.

What’s more worrying is the fact that the airbags could also be affected, and so the moment you are contacted by the dealer you will want to get your vehicle booked in for repair, details of which can be found here.
