Land Rover airbag recall to begin in April

Airbag recalls have been a thorn in the side of many automakers, and it would seem that yet another carmaker has had to issue a recall due to faulty airbags. However, this time it is Land Rover, as 61,000 of its models have suspected issues due to faulty software, so nothing to do with Takata this time.

Land Rover airbag recall to begin in April

This is not the first recall for the company this month, as its Range Rover and Sport had an issue as well that needs to be rectified. The strange thing is, this recall is for the same models, although for different years. The models in question were built from 2012 to 2015 and so owners will learn in due course if their model is affected.

However, we can tell you that the recalls are to begin in April, and so we are sure you will be worried if your Range Rover is safe to drive, and for very good reason as well.

We would advise you to read more details on this on the NHTSA website, or to contact your local Land Rover dealer.

Do you have a problem with your Land Rover, if so then please share those with us here.
