Honda and Acura targets drivers with Takata airbag problems

There has certainly been no shortage of car recalls over the past 6 months or so, although there does seem to be a shortage in the number of people coming forward to get the work done. It’s for this reason why Honda and Acura have come up with a way to combat this and to get more people to come forward in order to have the problem resolved.

Honda and Acura targets drivers with Takata airbag problems

Honda as a company has launched a huge ad campaign costing millions of dollars to target owners that are affected by the Takata airbag recall, and asking that they come forward in order to have a new inflator installed.

It is there hope that more people will come forward and so reducing the risk of any accidents that could occur due to a faulty airbag inflator. We have to presume that this campaign will work and get more people coming forward, because even though this recall has been well documented, some owners may still not know there vehicle could be affected.

The new ad campaign is to start on March 16 and will cover several different media, which includes a 30-second radio spot in over 110 markets and a full-color ad in more than 120 magazine publications.
