Chrysler 200 recall for 2015 models

The car industry looks to have one last recall before we enter a new month, and it is nothing to do with airbags this time. The recall in question is to do with the 2015 Chrysler 200, but only the one with the 3.6-liter V6 engine.

However, this will involve both the front-wheel and all-wheel drive models, and will include around 26,000 vehicles in all, with 22,107 of them in the U.S. alone. That total number represents around 20 percent of the total number of these models sold, which is a high ratio.

Chrysler believes that there was an inconsistency with assembly procedures and as such means that they will need to replace the transmission on models built between March 17, 2014 and September 20, 2014.

If you do have a Chrysler 200 that is affected by this recall, then you are asked to use the parking brake even if you have it in park.
