Audi Q3 recall for April baffles

Whenever there is a car recall it is often for something that is for the safety of the driver and others. However, this does not seem to be the case with the latest Audi Q3 recall, as it is a bit baffling to tell you the truth.

Audi Q3 recall for April baffles

Back in January the German carmaker noticed an issue that is said to go against federal safety regulations. During the tests they found that the sunroof would keep closing even though the ignition had been turned off.

This is the sort of feature that most drivers prefer, as they often start to close windows and sunroofs and turn the ignition off by mistake, only to have to turn the car back on again in order to complete the process.

It’s a real pain when that happens and Q3 owners were happy for once that a technical issue actually made the vehicle better, but that is the government safety guidelines for you.

Audi will contact affected owners, but if you have any questions you can call them on 1-800-253-2834.
