2015 Honda Fit Nov update for A-pillar recall

Honda must have breathed a sigh of relief when its Fit model was not included in the first round of airbag recalls, as the model has not had a good time of late with more than one recall of its own. The next-generation Fit was meant to be a good thing for Honda, but instead it has been overshadowed by controversy and now has an airbag recall of its own.

We thought we would offer a Nov update for the 2015 Honda Fit in regards to the A-pillar recall, and we can tell you that there is due to be a scheduled increase in production numbers in Mexico, as a second shift is soon to come online. It has been said that things are not as bad at Honda’a Mexico plant as first thought and that production of the 2015 Honda Fit will work itself out and is soon to start running smoothly once again.

However, what with the Honda Fit and other model recalls for other reasons, this is certainly going to have an effect on future sales. We have already seen a decline in sales, and with Honda still trying to get over the airbag recall, there is already concern that future models could be delayed, as they make certain Takata has got its act together.
