A recap for the recalls – The 2014 and 2015 models of the RLX has an issue with the aluminum film that is glued to the inner reflector of the headlamp. There is a chance that over time this could detach itself from the light, and in doing so will reduce the illumination of the headlights.

If this were to happen, there is a risk that other drivers or pedestrians could not see you, or you might not see them.

Affected vehicles were built on different dates, details of which can be found here. We can tell you that there has been several warranty claims and complaints made to Honda. If you would like more details, then call the NHTSA on 1 888 327 4236, or Honda on 1 310 783 2000.
