2012 Kia Sedona july recall

The reason we are refreshing people’s minds about this latest Kia Sedona recall is due to the fact that the recall is due to begin on July 25, 2016, and so just over one month to go.

Reason for the recall – There is a chance that the lower control arm of the suspension system could break due to possibly corrosion from exposure to salt. This is more likely to happen in US States that have to use road salt because of poor weather conditions.

Kia will have your car brought in so that the front lower control arms can be replaced free of charge. However, if there is no damage, then all that will need doing is a coat of anti-corrosion paint.

Mored details on this issue can be found on this safety recall report. If there are any other Kia problems you may wish to read about, or even add yourself, then please do so here.
